1. Purpose and Scope

Velariontika respects the privacy of customers and website visitors. This policy explains how we handle personal data during website visits, orders, deliveries, returns, refunds, and communications. Velariontika operates and delivers only within Hong Kong.

We handle personal data under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, Cap. 486, including its six Data Protection Principles concerning collection, accuracy, retention, use, protection, openness, access, and correction.

2. Data We Collect

We may collect your name, email address, telephone number, Hong Kong delivery address, order information, correspondence, delivery instructions, return details, photographs, and records.

Velariontika uses Cash on Delivery and does not request advance card payment through the website. When a bank-transfer refund is due, we may collect the account-holder name, bank name, account number, and related transfer information needed to send the refund.

Our website may collect an internet protocol address, browser type, device information, pages visited, referral source, and activity data through cookies or similar tools. We will describe such tools and provide applicable choices.

3. Why We Use Data

We may use personal data to review and accept orders, arrange free Hong Kong delivery, collect Cash on Delivery payments, provide order updates, respond to questions, coordinate doorstep collection, assess damaged or incorrect products, arrange exchanges, process bank-transfer refunds, maintain business records, prevent misuse, improve website functions, resolve disputes, and comply with legal duties.

We will not use personal data for an unrelated purpose unless you provide the consent required by the PDPO or the use is otherwise permitted by law.

4. Direct Marketing

Velariontika may use personal data to send product news, offers, or company updates only after providing the notice and obtaining the consent or indication of no objection required under Part 6A of the PDPO. Silence is not seen as consent.

You may withdraw consent without charge by using the unsubscribe method in a message or emailing decorcraft@velariontika.com. We will stop the relevant marketing use after processing your request. Electronic messages will identify the sender and include an unsubscribe method where required under the Unsolicited Electronic Messages Ordinance, Cap. 593.

5. Disclosure of Data

We may disclose necessary data to employees, delivery operators, technology hosts, website service providers, customer support providers, banking providers involved in refunds, professional advisers, regulators, courts, or public authorities. Disclosure is limited to a lawful purpose, operational requirement, or binding request.

Velariontika does not sell personal data. Service providers acting for us may use disclosed data only for their assigned functions and must apply suitable confidentiality and protection measures.

6. Retention and Accuracy

We retain personal data only while reasonably needed for its stated purpose, order administration, legal or accounting duties, disputes, and legitimate records. Refund banking information is retained only for the transfer, related records, and any legally required period. Unneeded data will be deleted, anonymized, or safely disposed of.

7. Data Protection

Velariontika applies reasonable administrative, physical, and digital safeguards against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, loss, or destruction. Access is limited according to work responsibilities. No online transmission or storage method is entirely risk free, but we review our safeguards and respond to identified concerns.

8. Access and Correction

Under the PDPO, you may request access to personal data held about you and request correction of inaccurate data. We may ask for sufficient identity information and details needed to locate the record. Valid requests will be handled within the period prescribed by law. A reasonable fee may apply where permitted.

9. Updates and Contact

We may revise this policy when our practices, services, or legal duties change. The revised version will display a new effective date. Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate website notice.
